Product Application:

SSR series solid state relay adopts flame retardant engineering plastic shell, epoxy resin encapsulation, thread lead end wiring, with high structural strength, impact resistance, strong shock resistance, the driving current of the input terminal is small, which can be conveniently connected with computer terminals and various digital program-controlled circuits. It is widely used in petrochemical instruments and equipment, food machinery, packaging machinery, textile machinery, numerical control machine tools, plastic machinery, fitness equipment, entertainment facilities and other automatic control fields.
It is especially suitable for corrosive, humid, dustproof, explosion-proof and other harsh environments, as well as frequent switching occasions. It is an updated substitute for AC contactor.
Safety precautions:
1. When the load current is higher than 5A, the radiator must be used or installed on the metal baseplate with corresponding heat dissipation effect, and the heat dissipation baseplate of solid state relay should be coated with thermal conductive silicone grease between the heat dissipation baseplate and the installation surface, more than 40A plus fan strong cooling or water cooling.
2. When used in inductive load, high transient voltage and surge current are applied to the output terminal, which may lead to misleading on or damage of solid state relay, it is usually necessary to connect a voltage controller with a specific clamping voltage at the output end, such as a bidirectional voltage regulator diode or a voltage sensitive resistor (MOV). It is recommended to take 1.6-1.9 times of the rated voltage for the varistor.
3. When controlling the smaller load current which is close to the minimum load current, a virtual load resistor should be connected in parallel on the load to reduce the output leakage current to generate higher residual voltage on the load.
4. In order to avoid the temperature rise of solid state relay exceeding the allowable value, the heat dissipation effect and installation position should be considered when designing and applying. When two or more Solid State Relays are installed side by side, proper spacing should be kept.
5. The output terminals of multiple solid-state relays shall not be used in parallel to try to increase the output current. However, the output terminals can be used in series to apply higher operating voltages.
6. When multiple solid-state relay share one control power supply, the input terminals can be used in series or in parallel.
