Operation Instruction:
Open the cover plate and carefully wipe the prism with a soft cloth. Place 2-3 drops of distilled water on the prism, then gently close the cover to avoid air bubbles. Wait for 30 seconds to let the reading to stabilize, look into the eyepiece and turn the calibration screw until the reading is “0” Open the cover plate and carefully wipe the prism with a soft cloth again. Place 2-3 drops of the liquid sample to be tested on the prism, then gently close the cover to avoid air bubbles. Wait for 30 seconds to let the reading to stabilize, align the prism assembly with the light source, then observe horizontally it through the eyepiece. The scale of the dividing line is the concentration of the solution. Finally, clean the refractometer with the soft cloth and put it back into the eyepiece. Keep the refractometer dry and clean, which can make the instrument accurate and durable. Precautions:
1. Must be careful when using, strictly follow the instructions. Do not loosen the connecting parts of the instrument, and do not drop or collide. Violent vibration is forbidden.
2. After use, it is forbidden to directly put it into water for cleaning. Use a clean soft cloth to wipe it. For optical surfaces, it should not be bruised or scratched.
3. Keep the instrument in a dry, non-corrosive atmosphere.
4. Avoid spare parts loss.
