Nickel foam is a rising star in the family of porous metals. It is made of metal nickel foam sponge with high technology and deep processing, and has three dimensional through hole mesh structure. The specific gravity is 0.2-0.3, which is 1/4 of water, 1/3 of wood, 1/10 of metal aluminium and 1/30 of iron. At the same time, the porous structure has wide frequency sound absorption characteristics. It can cut, bend, and paste simply. It has strong thermal conductivity. * In the field of chemical engineering, it can be used as catalyst, carrier, filter medium and separator (such as oil-water separator, oil-gas separator, automobile exhaust purifier, air purifier, electronic smoke, lampblack extractor, etc.) because of its large specific surface area, it can reduce energy consumption and improve efficiency.

* In the field of electrochemical engineering, such as hydrogen production by electrolysis, electrocatalytic process and electrochemical metallurgy, energy efficiency can be significantly improved.

* In the field of thermal engineering, it can be used not only as heat conducting material, but also as high-efficiency heat conducting "wick" material of "heat pipe", doubling the efficiency.

* In the field of functional materials, it can absorb wave energy as sound-absorbing material, silence, vibration absorption, buffer electromagnetic shielding, invisibility technology, flame retardant, adiabatic and so on.
